La ciudad del acantilado de Caras Calar cuelga por encima del suelo, suspendido de formaciones rocosas caprichosas.
The cliff city of Caras Calar dangles high above ground, suspended from the fickle rock formations.
Las estructuras están hechas de una filigrana de cristal, madera y
metal, y colgados con cadenas doradas gigantes de los acantilados de
columnas que dan la apariencia de enormes linternas flotantes.
The Structures are made of a filigree of crystal, wood and metal, and
hung with gigantic gold chains from the columnar cliffs giving the
appearance from below of huge floating lanterns.
El valle hundido sobre el que se cierne la ciudad está cubierta de
bosques con una vegetación extraña y riego de cascadas desde los
acantilados.
The sunken valley over which the city hangs is forested with strange
vegetation and irrigated from waterfalls plunging from the sheer cliffs.
La leyenda cuenta que una batalla entre dioses antiguos creaó este extraño paisaje.
Legend has it a battle between ancient gods created this strange scenery.
